On a Mac, download the ZIP file, find it in your Downloads folder, and double click it. Your Mac will automatically create a normal folder with the same contents inside, and you can then open your eBook and workbook from that folder.

On Windows, download the ZIP file, find it in your Downloads folder, right click it, choose Extract All, select where you want the folder to be saved, and then open the extracted folder to access your files. Microsoft confirms that Windows supports opening and extracting ZIP files directly through File Explorer.

On an iPhone or iPad, download the ZIP file, open the Files app, find the ZIP file, and tap it. Your device will create a folder containing the extracted files, which you can then open normally. Apple’s support instructions confirm that ZIP files can be opened this way through the Files app.

On an Android phone or tablet, download the ZIP file, open Files by Google or your device’s file manager, find the ZIP file in Downloads, tap it, and choose Extract. Google’s own instructions state that the extracted files are saved in the same folder as the original ZIP file, so you can open your eBook and workbook from there immediately after extraction.

Open the PDF on your computer, tablet, or phone, click or tap inside the answer fields, and type directly into the workbook. On most modern devices and PDF applications, your answers will be saved when you save or close the file, but I still recommend manually saving a copy after every longer writing session, especially if you are using a browser preview instead of a PDF app. On a computer, the safest option is to download the workbook first, open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview on Mac, or another PDF reader, type your answers into the fields, and then choose Save or Save As. Adobe’s own instructions for Acrobat confirm that interactive PDF fields can be filled in directly and saved as a completed form, while Apple’s Preview also supports filling PDF forms on Mac.
